Eight Bit Organism

here's a lame-ass demo. I'm playing a discarded umbrella into a TV that's on fire.

It's a bunch of stuff. A bitcrusher, samplerate reducer, a granular sampler/repeater/glitcher, a harsh digital fuzz and noise source. Controls are as follows (left to right):

top:
bitdepth: bitcrush from 8 to 1 bit. things get noisy and ugly and awesome!
samplerate: rate reduction, atari/nintendo-ish sounds, etc
tone: just a big muff tonestack. middle is neutral. right is high boost, left is low boost.
blend: wet-dry blend
volume: makes the pedal vomit kittens

bottom:
grain size: sample size of the granular sampling buffer.
grain mod: modulates the grain sample up or down in pitch
glitch 1 and glitch 2: makes it stutter in different ways. the toggle switch at the top makes the soft-stomp on the right active one or the other of the buttons.

This would be sick if it had cv inputs. Are they for sale?

Please sell a kit for this, or something!

Hey cloudscapes,
I was planning on asking you for some schematics for this, but on youtube you stated that this pedal's results are mostly due to your programming of the chips used. IF you don't mind me asking, what materials and systems do you use to make these pedals?
Thanks,
Jason

Hello,

I must say you are a true innovator in the effects pedal realm. Is there any chance that this particular creation would be sold as a kit/completed unit? I know it's been asked multiple times but I am curious.

If I were to make a suggestion for the glitch momentary buttons, perhaps they could be housed in a separate small box so you aren't doing highwire walking on your pedals :>)

Hiya! Would be very interested in seeing your code for the micro...did you use the Arduino IDE or AVR studio or something? Are you using onboard ADC for audio in? Some form of PWM for audio out? Or an external ADC/DAC? I know I'm a bit late on this, but excellent work!!!
